Picture This: A CoD Zombies Adventure Gone Hilariously Wrong
You and your squad are pumped for a night of CoD Zombies carnage. Terminus is calling, and your mission? Survive the relentless undead, beat the notorious Nathan boss, and maybe—just maybe—make it out alive.
However, what actually happens? Chaos, confusion, and something so ridiculous that it could only occur in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies.
The Nathan Dilemma: Endless Chaos and Full Health Regens
Let me set the scene. We’re on Terminus, facing off against Nathan. Meanwhile, things are looking grim. Zombies are swarming, Nathan’s chowing down on his pals like it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet, and every time we think we’ve got him, he’s back at full health like some kind of unkillable seafood platter.
Clearly, this boss isn’t going down easily. Because of this, we knew we had to try something different.
The Mystery of Nathan’s Sudden Demise
After what felt like a lifetime of getting nowhere, something bizarre happened. Without warning, the game switched to the cutscene of Nathan’s death.
At first, we were confused. Did we somehow win? Did we discover a hidden skill we didn’t know we had? Nope. Apparently, Nathan had yeeted himself into the water.
What Really Happened?
After some light-hearted sleuthing (and by that, I mean Googling how to beat Nathan in CoD Zombies), we eventually stumbled upon a possible explanation. Nathan, it seems, might be dunking himself like a clumsy basketball.
Some players speculate about an invisible timer or glitch. On the other hand, we prefer the idea that he just gets tired of our shenanigans and swan-dives into oblivion.
How to Use Nathan’s Hydrophobia to Your Advantage
If you’re struggling like we were, here’s how you can use Nathan’s apparent fear of water to turn the tide in your favor:
- Spawn Nathan as usual.
- Stand on the middle bridge and wait for him to come out.
- Jump in the water under the bridge and hang out while the zombies swarm Nathan.
- Watch out for meat missiles—those zombies aren’t afraid to throw their lunch at you.
- Swim away like a majestic dolphin once the undead gather around Nathan.
Eventually, with some luck, the zombies will crowd him so much that they helpfully nudge him into the water.
Does It Work Every Time?
Spoiler alert: not for us.
We tried this method at level 14 in CoD Zombies, and while it sounded brilliant in theory, there weren’t enough zombies to pin him down. As a result, Nathan slipped out of their undead embrace like a greased octopus. Perhaps we needed more zombies or a higher level. Nevertheless, it’s worth a shot if you’re desperate!
Plan B: The Double Pack-a-Punch Beam Smasher
If water shenanigans don’t work, alternatively, there’s always the reliable “just obliterate him” method.
Here’s what you need:
- A Beam Smasher, which you’ll need for the quest anyway.
- Double pack-a-punch it for extra firepower.
Moreover, if you’re struggling with the math equation on your way to get the Beam Smasher, check out this detailed guide: Beam Smasher Equation – How to Solve It in Terminus.
This strategy is less “lol what just happened” and more “Nathan doesn’t stand a chance.” As a result, an upgraded Beam Smasher can mow down zombies and Nathan with ease.
Extra Tips for Surviving Terminus (Especially if You’re a Noob)
When we first hopped into this, we were complete CoD Zombies newbies. Admittedly, we didn’t know a crafting table from a pack-a-punch machine. If you’re as clueless as we were, these tips might save you some frustration:
The Arsenal Is Your Friend
First and foremost, use your scraps in the arsenal to level up your gun’s rarity on the second tab. This makes it stronger without guzzling as much ammo as an early pack-a-punch upgrade.
Pack-a-Punch Progression
The big elevator on the map is where you can pack-a-punch your weapon. Therefore, prioritize this as you go.
Armor Up
Additionally, craft armor at the crafting table—it’s a lifesaver, especially when Nathan’s flinging zombies your way.
Explore Crafting Tabs
Lastly, don’t ignore the extra tabs at the crafting table! In addition to armor, you can create lethals and other helpful items there.
What Did We Learn?
Black Ops 6 Zombies – Terminus is equal parts thrilling and ridiculous. Nathan might be a tough boss, but whether you’re taking him down with an epic Beam Smasher or coaxing him into a watery grave, the game offers plenty of laughs along the way.

Our final takeaway? Zombies may want your brains, but sometimes, they’re the best accidental allies. Good luck, and remember: if all else fails, just hope Nathan decides he’s done and takes the plunge.
